Undoubtedly, the company with the longest E3 hype train this year is Nintendo, hands down. With the Nintendo 2015 World Championships kicking off a few days before their Press Conference, along with their Digital Event, The TreeHouse Live @ E3 after the event, and the Best Buy All Access at specific locations for gamer’s to get their hands on Mario Maker; without a doubt Nintendo is packing a pretty big punch with the content this year.
Earlier today however, Nintendo has also announced another small piece to their E3 presence. With the new Smash Bros. DLC arriving on the Wii U & 3DS on the 14th, Masahiro Sakurai will be hosting a special video presentation which will be focused around Super Smash Bros. DLC. Whether or not he will be discussing the content that will be arriving during that or, or new content on the way, or both, is completely up in the air at the moment, but I have a pretty big feeling he will tease a specific announcement, for it to later be fully revealed during Nintendo’s Digital Event.
All in all, this is mere speculation at best. You’ll definitely want to tune into the Smash Bros. Video Presentation, which will be taking place on Tuesday, June 14th at 7:40am PT/10:40am EST
