How violent are you feeling right now? Hopefully extra violent, because WB Games and Netherrealm Studios are about to bring you the worlds most brutal fighter in an extra large size!
Earlier today the companies announced that a “Mortal Kombat XL” release is on the way. The game is basically going to be a Game of the Year Edition of Mortal Kombat X; featuring every fighter, skin, X-ray, fatality, etc – that the game has offered as both standard content and DLC since it’s release.
It’s a bit surprising that the companies would announce this so soon, as the Kombat Pack 2, introducing several more additional characters to the roster, release not too long ago. It’s probably safe to say that if you’re now looking to get into Mortal Kombat X, such as myself, your best waiting it out until this Extra Large addition arrives on March 1st for PS4 and Xbox One.
Not many more details were touched upon as to what exactly the XL Edition would include, but the companies did provide us with an announcement trailer which you can check out below.
