If you’re interested in getting your hands on the new DOOM title before it officially announces later on in May, you’ll probably be thrilled to hear that another closed beta phase for the title has been announced.
The beta is set to run on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, taking place from March 31st to April 3rd. The closed beta however, is only eligible for players who have pre-ordered Wolfenstein: The New Order. If you didn’t pre-order the title, odds are you’ll be able to find a few closed beta codes online if you’re really desperate to try out the game.
“In the DOOM Multiplayer Beta, fans will have the opportunity to play the brutally fun and challenging shooter weeks before its release. The Beta is expected to feature two maps, Heatwave and Infernal, and two modes, Team Deathmatch and Warpath, along with never-before-seen weapons, armor sets, taunts and hack modules.”
Along with the announcement for the upcoming closed beta phase, a new trailer for the game was also released. The trailer spotlights the multiplayer side of the title, showing some awesome 1080p, 60FPS footage. The game looks absolutely gorgeous, as in, I’ve never seen both blood and gore look so good.
