PlayStation 4 owner will finally be able to explore the world of Eorzea, this spring! After prior confirmation that the game was in fact on board for a PS4 release, Sony today confirmed at the PlayStation Awards in Tokyo Japan, that ARR was coming April of 2014. So weather you are a PC, PS3, or PS4 owner, FFXIV will soon be available on all system simultaneously.
The next major patch, 2.1, in ARR is slated to arrive on December 17th. The patch will include new additions to the game such as team based PvP, as well as a player housing system. Shortly following, Beta testing for the PS4 release will begin on February 2nd, 2014 worldwide.
