The big trains keep on rolling into the station, with Microsoft bringing more and more great last generation titles to the Xbox One via backwards compatibility.
Our most recent additions are some big fan favorites from last generation. Both Dark Souls and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 are now available for Xbox One Backwards Compatibility play. If you’ve purchased the games digitally on the Xbox 360, they should be available and ready to install under your Games screen. If you own the physical copies of the games, however, you’ll be able to simply pop in the disc and install the title on your Xbox One. You will have to keep the disc inside the console when you wish to play, however, so don’t go selling them off just yet.
Both Dark Souls and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 were fairly big successes from Bandai Namco Entertainment, with both games set to receive new sequels this year! With Dark Souls 3 arriving next month and Tekken 7 launching before the end of the year, it seems that Bandai Namco is taking us back a bit before kicking off the next adventure in both franchises.
As usual, it’s really nice to see Microsoft still bringing in backwards compatible titles, and at a fairly rapid place. Yes, I am still waiting for the original Black Ops to arrive, but now I can wait much longer with both Dark Souls and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 available.
