Several awesome classic titles have made their way to the Xbox One backwards compatibility list this week. Microsoft has announced that Halo Wars, Soul Calibur 2, and King of Fighters 98 are all now available to play via Xbox One Backwards Compatibility. If you have the digital Xbox 360 versions of the titles, all you have to do is install them, and you’ll be ready to go. If you happen to own the discs for any of the titles you will also be able to install them, however, you will have to keep the disc inside the Xbox One in order to play the title.

Both Soul Calibur 2 and King of Fighters 98 are true fan favorites in each respective franchise. If you’re a fighting game fan, you’ll more than likely be extremely thrilled to see these titles making their way to the Xbox One as backwards compatible.

Halo Wars on the other hand, is not as old as a title, but is also a fan favorite among RTS fans. Halo Wars 2 is set to arrive later this year, so if you haven’t played the first one, now is the perfect time to do so with the ability to play on your Xbox One.

It seems we’ve been receiving new titles added to the list for backwards compatibility every week. I’m still here twiddling my thumbs for Call of Duty: Black Ops. They say that good things come to those who wait…
