Halo Wars 2 is probably one of my most anticipated Xbox One/PC release for 2016, aside from Gears of War 4. And while we have yet to even hear more details about the game, it seems fairly soon we will finally be able to see the title in action!
During a recent blog post about Halo 5, 343 Industries announced a few details regarding what fans should expect to see from them at E3 2016, and had the following to say regarding Halo Wars 2:
“The Halo Wars 2 team is anxiously gearing up for E3, where the game will indeed be playable. There’s also – well, I can’t talk about more just yet.”
Halo Wars 2 is currently slated for Fall of 2016, for both Xbox One and PC via Windows 10 and is currently being developed by 343 Industries along with The Creative Assembly. Halo Wars 2 is set to be a direct sequel to the first Halo Wars title, which launched back in 2009 on the Xbox 360. Solid RTS titles, are hard to come across nowadays, but Halo Wars 2, if done right, may be the trendsetter for a new generation of RTS titles.
