If you are looking to spice up your Fallout 4 experience a bit, but you’re stuck playing on console, specifically Xbox One; you’ll probably be excited to hear that after months of waiting, you can now play Fallout 4 mods on Xbox One! Mods have always been a PC sort of thing, and with that said, the feature was made available first on the platform, however now, Xbox One players are able to join in the modded fun from the comfort of their living room!
Mods will still need to be created on the PC, but once finished, you’ll be able to download them directly onto your Xbox One system. If you are creating mods, you’ll need to endure a short verification process which must take place before the mod is eligible to download/publish.
Mods can either be a good thing or a bad thing for a specific video game and it’s community. With Skyrim, we’ve seen an infinite amount of mods throughout the last several years since the titles launch. While a lot of those mods were incredibly terrible, there are also many that are extremely awesome, and with that said you cannot deny the amount of longevity mods add to a given game.
