EA has very ambitious plans for their Star Wars game over the next 2 years. Starting with free content as well as DLC. The DLC will be in in new areas such as Bespin and the Death Star. Which will be come as a digital expansion in December. There is also going to be a VR mission in the works as well with Sony’s new vr technology where you get to pilot a x-wing fighter. That should really bring some great excitement to vr and Star Wars fans alike.
Then there is more content coming to Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes, the mobile game, new features such as forming guilds, be able to perform raids, as well as having a chat feature. There is also going to be more content added to the game as the year goes on. Then to wrap up the 2016 year Bioware will also add more content to their very popular game Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. So expect more storyline content as well as more in depth look at more of the characters.
In 2017 there is going to be a whole new installment of Star Wars Battlefront in the works. There hasn’t been much said about it at the moment. But I got the impression from EA that it was going to be a huge add on to the Battlefront game. So, who knows what DICE has in store for Star Wars fans.
In 2018 a brand new Star Wars adventure game made by Visceral games. Again not much has been said at the moment about it. There is some concept art and early footage and that’s it. All we know that its coming out in 2018. I almost wonder if it is going to be based off of the new Star Wars films, or a completely new spin off just based in the Star Wars universe? Either way, it definitely leaves questions for the gamers of the Star Wars community, as well as have a game to look forward to see at next E3 possibly.

That Visceral Games title looks interest. We need to keep a close eye on that!
