Not too long ago, we reported on a heavy rumor that was floating around in regards to a potential Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Collection, which was scheduled to release sometime before years end. While we found it to be a bit strange that Ubisoft would not announce such an announcement at the recent Gamescom, it did still seem quite likely that Ubisoft could have been saving the announcement for a much better time.

Regardless of that, Ubisoft has now officially brought some light to the rumor, by officially revealing that The Ezio Collection is indeed on the way! The collection has been announced for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and will be arriving on November 17th.

The titles which will be included in the collection are , Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed Revelations. All titles will remastered, however, exact details regarding the what the remaster will change – has not yet been announced. We do know for certain however, that the remastered versions will run at 1080p, 30FPS.

In addition to the official announcement, it was revealed that the all the games will come with all DLC, however, not multiplayer functions will be featured in these versions. For those who purchase the collection, you will receive a free movie ticket to see the Assassin’s Creed movie, which is slated to arrive this December.

Many were a bit worried that Assassin’s Creed would not see any sort of release at all this year, as a new title was not revealed during E3 2016. Rumors have suggested that a new Assassin’s Creed title will in fact be released next year, with Egypt as the setting. No official details regarding this new Assassin’s Creed title have been announced as of yet.
