We are stroked for the arrival of Gears of War 4, and odds are, you are as well! Why wouldn’t you be? It’s one of Microsoft’s most prominent IP’s on the Xbox, and continues to get better and better with every release; even if the story has been a bit drawn out, to much.
Needless to say, many people are stoked for the arrival of Gears of War 4, as the game in general sort of kicks off the Holiday Season release craziness, that is, if you are not counting the release of Bungie’s Rise of Iron expansion for Destiny.
To help ignite the hype, and inform the fan base a bit more, Microsoft has recently announced a special Gears of War 4 Live event, which they will be holding early next month. The live stream is set to kick off on October 5th 3PM/6pm ET, and will showcase brand new gameplay from the game. The stream will also feature special appearances, and contests where viewers will more than likely be able to win to some awesome Gears of War 4 swag!
Gears of War 4 is set to launch on October 11th for both Xbox One, and Windows 10 PC. As a reminder, for those of you who purchase the digital edition of either title, you will receive an option to install the game on both Windows 10 PC and Xbox One, as part of Xbox’s new “Xbox Play Anywhere” function. If you’d like to get your hands on the game a few day’s earlier than everyone else, owners of the Gears of War 4 Ultimate Edition, will be able to begin their Gears 4 journey on October 7th.
