Ape Escape 3 Rated Once Again For PS4 By ESRB

Every single time I hear anything pertaining to Ape Escape 3, I get all giddy inside. That’s because the Ape Escape franchise was probably the first ever franchise, on the PS4; that I completely fell in love with. As a matter of fact, Ape Escape 3 was one of the main reasons why I decided to purchase a PS3; in hopes that Sony would announce an Ape Escape 4, for the console.

Though a 4th entry to the franchise never came to be, despite endless rumors and speculation; the hopes of a possible remastering of all the titles, has been something fans have been holding onto ever since the PlayStation 4 has been around. We recently received a PS4 port of Ape Escape 2, earlier this year, which pretty much assured us that we should be receiving a port of 3 at some point – if not a remaster.

Recently a new ESRB rating for Ape Escape 3 has popped up, with the game now being rated E+10 for crude humor and cartoon violence. While this isn’t the first time we’ve seen ESRB rate Ape Escape 3 this year, the fact that it has been done a second time really makes you wonder exactly what’s going on with the title.

This year marks the 10 year anniversary for Ape Escape 3, so a release on the PS4 sometime before years end would be a wonderful gift!

I can keep on dreaming; but in the meantime, I’ll make sure to keep my eyes peeled over on the PlayStation Blog – just in case they actually do end up adding the title to the PS Store.
