When I awoke early this afternoon, I didn’t expect the entire Twitterverse to be hyping over 3 new Super Smash Bros characters, after the promised one Nintendo had stated they would announce early this morning. However, more is always better, especially in a series as great as Super Smash Bros. This morning, three more characters were revealed to be playable in both the Wii U & 3DS version of the game. With Captain Falcon, being a returning character, as well as two characters from the latest, Fire Emblem: Awakening, Robin and Lucina, bringing the total amount of playable characters to a whopping 36!
With the 3DS Version of the game launching on October 3rd, and the Wii U version launching this Holiday Season, I think it’s safe to say that we should be able to reach the 50 playable characters achievement sometime soon!
