Battlefield 3, Bad Company 2, Dragon Age: Origins, and More Joins Xbox One Backwards Compatibility

Microsoft has kept to their promise when they stated they would continue adding titles to the Backwards Compatibility, after the holiday season concluded.  Announced earlier today via Twitter  a slew of very popular Xbox 360 titles are now available on the Xbox One via backwards compatibility. The titles are as follows:

    • Battlefield: Bad Company 2
    • Battlefield 3
    • Dragon Age: Origins
    • Ghostbusters
    • Scrap Metal
    • The Splatters
    • Strania

While majority of these titles are available to purchase digitally via the Xbox Store, Battlefield 3 will only be available for users who own the disc version of the game. This set of backwards compatible titles definitely have the community quite excited, as Dragon Age: Origins, Battlefield 3, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and Ghostbusters are all very popular and great titles that launched next generation.

While much of the community is still begging for a Black Ops 2 to arrive backwards compatible, you really cannot complain with this set of games, especially considering we’ve received them so early in the year. Thanks for the late Christmas gift, Microsoft!
