Another month is now wrapping up, which means a new month of free games available to Xbox Live gold subscribers are soon to be available. It’s one of the many great benefits of being a subscriber to Xbox Live, everyone likes free stuff, am I right? In addition to the free games of course, the service overall has improved quite a bit over the years, despite things being a bit rocky at first on the Xbox One.
With all of that aside though, Microsoft has revealed the free Xbox Games with Gold titles which will be available for March 2017. This months title will all be available to play on the Xbox One, with two being available to play on the Xbox 360. This months titles are as follows:
- Layers of Fear (March 12st-31st) – Xbox One
- EVOLVE Ultimate Edition (March 16th-April 15th) – Xbox One
- Borderlands 2 (March 1st-15th) – Xbox 360
- Heavy Weapon (March 16th-31st) – Xbox 360
It’s probably no surprise that both Borderlands 2 and EVOLVE are the highlights for this months free titles. Both are significantly successful titles, and while EVOLVE did have what was considered to be a rather bumpy launch, the title definitely redeemed itself later down the line with free content updates, and improvement patches. Borderlands 2 obviously needs no introduction, the RPG shooter without a doubt is one of the most well-received titles to ever exist; you really cannot go wrong with downloading this one, at all.
