The next Darksiders adventure has officially been outed. That’s right, Darksiders 3 is officially on the way. Many fans of the franchise learned earlier yesterday that the game was pretty much confirmed to be on the way, as the retailer Amazon UK had listed listings for Darksiders 3 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Along with the listing for the title which was displayed on Amazon, a few details for the game were also revealed. In Darksiders 3, you will play as a mage by the name of Fury, as you utilize her magic and ultimately unleash her several different forms which lead you to accessing new weapons, moves, and traversal abilities.
The listing also described the game as more of an open-world title as player’s will “explore and open-ended, living, free-form game world in which Fury moves back and forth between environments to uncover secrets while advancing the story.” Your overall goal in the game will be to defeat the “Seven Deadly Sins” as well as their various acolytes which consists of “mystical creatures” to “degenerated beings.”
Despite Darksiders 3 being leaked on a pretty big scale, the developers went ahead and officially announced the game earlier today along with releasing an official reveal trailer which you can check out below by courtesy of IGN.
Darksiders 3 officially launches in 2018 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
