We’re returning to yet another mountainous region in the upcoming Far Cry 5 which has recently been confirmed by Ubisoft themselves. With rumors originally stating that the game would be taking place on Western shores, fans hopeful for the games setting within the US are in for a treat, as Ubisoft has also confirmed that the game will in fact be taking place in the United States, in Montana to be exact.
Based on the first teaser trailer which was recently released, the game looks to be taking place in a more modern day setting, and seems to be taking on some religious elements. According to the teaser trailer which was recently released, a full reveal for Far Cry 5 will be taking place via Ubisoft’s YouTube channel on May 26th.
While word regarding what platforms Far Cry 5 will be arriving on has not yet been announced, I think it’s safe to assume that PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC are a given, with a Switch release possible, as past Far Cry games have released on Nintendo platforms.
