Pokemon Sun/Moon Are Getting A Sequel with Ultra Pokemon Sun & Ultra Pokemon Moon

Pokemon fan’s around the world today rejoiced this morning, as Nintendo held a special direct Presentation solely focused on some upcoming Pokemon titles that would be headed to both the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo 3DS later this year.

As of lately, Nintendo seems to have adopted the annual release format for their Pokemon titles, despite Sun Moon releasing two years after Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. If anything, after today the company may have made it more clear than ever that annual releasing for main-line Pokemon titles are definitely the goal.

Coming this November, Pokemon fans will travel once again to the Alola Region to partake on yet another journey in the newly announced Ultra Pokemon Sun and Ultra Pokemon Moon titles! While not much information was revealed regarding the title, we know for certain that the game will feature a brand new story, as well as several new “forms” for Pokemon around the region. Pokemon Sun/Moon saw new “Alola” forms for several older generation Pokemon such as Raichu, Muk, Exeggutor and more. Could these new forms potentially be Ultra forms? Or could we see even more Alola forms added to the list? I suppose we’ll have to wait to find out.

Ultra Pokemon Sun and Ultra Pokemon Moon officially launch exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS on November 17th, 2017.
