Capcom got demon scum all over my Gamescom 2018, and I’m actually digging it! Yep, among the many titles that have been showcased at Gamescom 2018 so far, Devil May Cry 5 was one of them. Capcom showcased a brand new trailer mostly featuring the playable character Nero and his “Devil Breaker.” What are Devil Breakers you may ask? Well, they are mechanical arms of sorts, developed by Nero’s strangely attractive ally, Nico. These arms grant Nero special powers in the game, with eight standard types of Devil Breakers in the game. Of course, Nero still carries his Red Queen sword and Blue Rose handgun if you want more of that traditional DMC action.
Now of course, at the tail end of the trailer we catch the one and only Dante, it really wouldn’t be Devil May Cry without him. His bike makes a return as well! Featuring it’s debut as a usable weapon for even more demon hacking and slashing action!
Devil May Cry 5 officially launches on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4 on March 8th, 2019.
