For those of you who have been craving some new announcements from the ‘Big N’ themselves, you’ll be happy to know that what was last weeks cancelled Nintendo Direct presentation, has received a new date earlier today! Tomorrow, September 13th, the company will be spending about 35 minutes discussing upcoming Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch titles during a Nintendo Direct Presentation. While many fans are already going hard at speculation as to what will be announced, there is one thing for certain we now know they will touch on – the Nintendo Switch Online service.
Along side the announcement of the new Nintendo Direct date earlier today, Nintendo also revealed that the Nintendo Switch Online service will officially be launching next week on September 18th, following a 3hr Online service maintenance that will take place. While aside from these details, nothing else was revealed regarding the service today, aside from the fact that they will be revealing more regarding the online service during tomorrows Direct. Definitely something to look forward to!
Since the announcement of the Nintendo Switch Online Service release window, we’ve received little to no information in regards to what exactly the service will offer in terms of features. We know cloud saves are certainly set to launch with the service next week, as well as Super Mario Bros. as a free title for subscribers, but aside from that we haven’t been told much at all. Hopefully that all changes tomorrow during the Direct Presentation.
Nintendo Direct Presentation will take place at 3pm PT/5pm CDT/6pm EST
