ACT FAST: Breath of the Wild Physical Copies Sold Out at GameStop and Amazon

The Nintendo Switch is about ten days out, and with pre-orders being available for quite sometime now, it’s really no surprise that the system is pretty much sold out absolutely everywhere. This is quite obvious though, as the Switch is arguably the most anticipated Nintendo console since the release of the Wii.

Something that comes as a shocker though is the apparent lack of stock for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, more specifically from the retailers GameStop and Amazon. That’s right, as of now physical copies for the Nintendo Switch version of Breath of the Wild are sold out at both retailers, meaning if you were hoping to pre-order the title for the Switch, last minute, you’re dry out of luck.

While it’s not that big of a deal that only two retailers out of the many many others are currently sold out of pre-orders for the title, you’ll definitely want to act quick as it’s very likely that the Switch version of Breath of the Wild will be selling out at other retailers within the coming days, especially once the title officially drops.

It generally isn’t normal to see a lack of stock with big first-party releases such as Zelda, however it seems retailers may have been stocked with a much lower number of Switch copies than Wii U copies, considering the amount of Switch’s initially being stocked, aren’t all that many either.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild launches on March 3rd for both Wii U and Nintendo Switch.
