We’re a few weeks out still, but April is on the horizon! Which means a brand new set of titles will soon be available to download completely for free – for all you Xbox Live Gold subscribers out there!
Luckily for you; you won’t have to wait until the end of next week or maybe even the week after to receive word on what titles will in fact be available for you to download for free next month, as Xbox Austria has recently accidentally announced the full lineup of Games With Gold for April 2017 on both their Facebook and Twitter pages. Yikes, accidents happen, right? The posts have long since been deleted, but we all have brains so nothing is truly ever deleted from the internet.
With that said, you’ll be happy to know that Games with Gold for April definitely has some very solid titles on the way, which are the following:
- Ryse (Xbox One) – Available April 1st – 30th
- The Walking Dead Season 2 (Xbox One) – Available April 16th – May 15th
- Darksiders (Xbox 360) – Available April 1st-15th
- Assassins Creed Revelations (Xbox 360) Available April 16th-30th
All of these titles are definitely beloved titles, even Ryse, with it being a fairly solid title which released alongside the Xbox One’s launch. As usual, if you’re an Xbox One owners, you’ll be able to download each and every one of these titles as the Xbox 360 titles are available via the backwards compatibility function.
Microsoft/Xbox has yet to announce an official statement regarding the Games With Gold for April announcement, however, due to the recent leak it’s quite likely that they will formally announce the titles earlier than they had originally planned.
