Become A Hero For A Weekend During Overwatch Free Weekend Period

If you’ve been waiting to get your hands on Overwatch, or are possible not sure if you’d like to spend the $40 on the game, well, you’re in luck! Blizzard Entertainment has recently announced that Overwatch will be receiving a free-to-play weekend next week, which is currently set to run from November 18th-November 21st.  The title will be eligible to play for free on all platforms, however, for those of you planning to play on Xbox One and or PlayStation 4; you’ll be required to have online membership for whichever platform you decide to play on (Xbox Live or PlayStation Plus.)

Players participating in the beta will have access to all of the games maps, and heroes, so you won’t be getting the short end of the deal, at all. What makes this even more worthwhile, is that if you enjoy the game, you’ll be able to carry over all data, earned skins, etc, to the full copy if you ever decide to pick it up. Quite convenient if you ask me.

Overwatch has gained quite a bit of popularity since it’s launch back in May of this year. The title has basically become the “League of Legends” of PC FPS titles; and while that may be a messy comparison, I’ve been using it for much too long to stop now.

Overwatch is available right now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
