This weekend is an exciting one for those of you who are players of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on PlayStation 4.
Treyarch has announced that this weekend the newly released Awakening DLC for the title will be free to play throughout the duration of the weekend for PlayStation 4 owners only. The free to play period will go live on April 1st at 10am PT and will conclude on April 4th at 10am PT.
Alongside this free to play period for PS4 will come a Double XP weekend for all platforms. So if you’re like me and haven’t played Black Ops 3 multiplayer a lot since the release, this weekend is probably going to be the best opportunity to put some time into the game. With the new multiplayer maps from the Awakening DLC in the map rotation during this weekend, it will take a few hours of playing before you tire from the action.
Treyarch has also announced that the second DLC pack for Black Ops 3 is set to be revealed sometime later this week. We will be sure to provide you all with all of the details as soon as they are announced.
