During Nintendo’s Switch Presentation which took place Thursday night, among some of the several titles that the company confirmed, a few stood out more than others. One of those titles were “Fire Emblem: Warriors“. Fire Emblem has been receiving quite a bit of attention from Nintendo as of lately; as the company is seemingly continuously developing games for the franchise much more often than they have in the past.
While we didn’t receive much of any information regarding Fire Emblem: Warriors, aside from a brief teaser trailer; Nintendo did reveal during their Treehouse Live Event that they would be holding a special Fire Emblem focused Nintendo Direct, next week, on January 18th.
Many have already begun to speculate that Fire Emblem: Warriors will take on a similar game play approach that Hyrule Warriors did, featuring a slew of characters from the Fire Emblem franchise all duking it out in a more traditional Dynasty Warriors-esque game play.
Fire Emblem: Warriors is currently being developed by KOEI TECMO GAMES, Team Ninja, and W-FORCE Omega, with a release date of Holiday 2017.
