Remember that 2 hour long, tedious, repetitive, boring, and quite un-eventful PC E3 Press conference that took place this year? You probably don’t, because to be very honest, you probably either left the room, or closed the live-stream shortly after it started, yep, it was that boring.
However, there were maybe 2-4 announcements that took place during that show that were somewhat exciting. Two of these announcement were in which, of current Xbox One titles that will be making their way to PC in the near future. These titles of course are Killer Instinct and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition.
For sometime now we’ve been awaiting official confirmation on when exactly next year these titles will be arriving, as they are expected to be exact ports of the Xbox One version, just optimized for the Windows 10 experience. Late last week, Phil Spencer answered a fan on Twitter when asked about when we could expect to see these titles land on Windows 10. Phil Spencer confirmed that they have not announced exact dates as of yet, however they wouldn’t release too far into 2016.
@therealdealadam @brycethatoneguy Haven’t announced dates yet but won’t be too far into 2016.

Odds are this means we should be seeing them sometime before March at the earliest, June at the latest, but an even older tweet, by the official Killer Instinct twitter, confirmed that the full PC version would be launching in March.
Dates very well may have changed since then, but 2016 is just about here so the wait may not be as long as it seems. I personally hope PC ports of both these titles will in a way, breathe new life into them, as well as a new platform fan-base.
