For those of you who may not know, it’s N7 Day! Which means pretty much every Mass Effect fan everywhere, is celebrating the existence of the Mass Effect universe itself, along with the developers of the game. There have been quite a few pretty pleasing surprises to release in celebration of N7 Day, thus far, however; this one has got to be one of the most pleasing.

Mass Effect 2 and 3 have now been added to play on Xbox One via the backward compatibility feature! Something fans of the franchise have been awaiting ever since the feature was confirmed. Players who currently own the game via disc, can pop them into their Xbox One’s, right now, and begin installing the nostalgia. If you don’t own the disc versions, they’re also available to purchase and download via the Xbox Store. EA Access subscribers should know that both game have recently been added to the service, so you can also get your hands on them, for the Xbox One; via that method as well.

The talk of Mass Effect has been quiet ever since Andromeda was briefly touched on during E3 2016; however, after today, this is likely no longer going to be the case.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is currently slated to arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC during Spring of 2017.
