It’s still early here in the U.S, but overseas, Nintendo is already making waves, by announcing brand new Super Smash Bros related news. First up is the limited edition Nintendo 3DS XL Super Smash Bros Bundle! This slick, sexy, looking package contains a custom Super Smash Bros themed 3DS XL, along with a digital download of the game. Smash fans will be able to pick up this limited edition pack on October 3rd when the game launches! While this bundle was revealed earlier today on Nintendo of Europe’s twitter, I think it’s safe to assume it will be available for worldwide purchase at launch, possibly in different colors, for each different region. We’ll keep you updated.
But that’s not all! Nintendo has also announced that everyone’s favorite, S tier character, is returning for some more action in the new Smash Bros games! That’s right, Meta Knight is the latest returning character to the franchise, and will be available to play on both the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game.
Super Smash Bros launches for the Nintendo 3DS on October 3rd 2014. The Wii U launch of the game is scheduled for Holiday 2014!
