As revealed not too long ago, Nintendo officially announced their plans for this years E3; and as expected, the company will be staying away from hosting a traditional Press Conference. Instead, Nintendo will be going all out this year; and will be hosting a Treehouse Live Event, both an ARMS and Splatoon 2 invitational event, and most importantly – their E3 2017 Spotlight event.
The Nintendo E3 2017 Spotlight event is set to provide brand new information on Super Mario Odyssey (which honestly seems to be the company’s main focus) as well as other upcoming Nintendo Switch titles. After making their initial announcement a few weeks back regarding their E3 plans, Nintendo took to Twitter this week to once again confirm that the Spotlight will be happening on June 13th at 9am PT.

With a lot of high hopes surrounding the Nintendo Switch, as well as tons of hype being the driving force behind it; this years E3 is a very important time for Nintendo as it will surely define how the Switch will move forward throughout the rest of 2017 and even into 2018. With Super Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade 2, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Fire Emblem Warriors, and so much more likely to be big focuses during the show; Nintendo is already looking to have a very solid presence at this years E3 and will quite likely be the star of the show.
