We’ve been hearing multiple rumors regarding the 2016 Call of Duty title, for sometime now. As usual, the next Call of Duty title is scheduled to release sometime later this year in November. This time around however, it’s Infinity Ward’s turn to develop the game, leaving many fans in confusion as to what exactly the next Call of Duty title will be titled.
The latest rumors comes from a user over on twitter by the name of Jim Sterling, who recently posted a picture which shows a retailer listing for the title, showcasing it’s reveal to be taking place on May 3rd. May is generally the common month where the new Call of Duty title for the year is revealed, so if this does turn out to be true, it would not be very surprising in the least.
Along with this rumor, a reddit user, among several others, have recently spotted what appears to be the official title of the 2016 Call of Duty title, over on PSN. According to the leak, the game is entitled “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare”
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare sounds awfully like a title that could in fact feature multiple games, or a slew of multiplayer modes. Personally, this title leads me to believe that the Call of Duty 2016 title we have all been waiting to officially hear about, may very well be a Remastered Bundle of Modern Warfare titles 1-3. Considering the title has been shown on PSN, it’s quite obvious at this point that some sort of Call of Duty news is well on the way.
