You thought the Nintendo NX based rumors were done? Ha! Jokes on you, because it seems we are only at the beginning.
Earlier today, a recent report has come out from Dr. Serkan Toto, who is the CEO of the Tokyo-based game industry consultancy of the company Kantan Games; claiming that the company has a reliable source that states Super Smash Bros. will be a launch title for the upcoming Nintendo NX console. In addition to this, Dr. Serkan claims that Bandai Namco Entertainment is currently developing a handful of Nintendo NX titles.
Many believe, as well as myself, that it’s much to early to be receiving a new Super Smash Bros title, so odds are, we will end up receiving some sort of port of the current Super Smash Bros. Wii U title, onto the Nintendo NX; perhaps with updated visuals, all DLC includes, and MAYBE all 3DS stages included? That would definitely be nice!
All in all however, this is quite a huge rumor, so just as many other people are saying, please take it with a grain of salt. Hopefully Nintendo decides to lift the curtain on their details and plans for the console sometime within the coming months.
