As of now we have only officially been told of Tekken 7’s release on the PS4, but now it seems that fighters on other platforms will also be receiving the title as well. A representative for Bandai Namco has recently come out and said that Tekken 7 will be released for the PC and Xbox One platforms, in addition to the PS4 version.
A Twitter user by the name of YellowMotion, attended the MCM London Comic Con event over this past weekend, where the apparent announcement was made.
In addition to this, recent advertisements have also been said to have been popping up at EB Games locations, which display the title available to pre-order with the Xbox One logo on the box. The EB Games Website, also has a dedicated listing for Tekken 7 on the Xbox One as well, likely meaning the title is in fact now to be multi-platform.
While Tekken was originally a title to primarily be released on PlayStation platforms, this all changed with the launch of Tekken 6, as Bandai seemingly changed strategies when it came to releasing their Fighting Games, on last-generation platforms. No official announcement from Bandai Namco regarding an official release date or release on Xbox One and PC, has been made as of yet; however, it is quite likely that we will receive more information during E3 2016.
