With Rise of the Tomb Raider recently finally being available on all platforms (with PC and PlayStation 4 versions recently releasing this year), the curiosity for what comes next in the recently rebooted Tomb Raider franchise – is likely stirring in many gamer’s heads.
Well, it seems the possibility for the third entry in the franchise, is soon to be revealed. A leak has supposedly surfaced over on Reddit, where the poster of the thread was taking a ride on the subway in Montreal where the then saw an individual with their laptop open with a screen featuring a logo for a game called Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
While this information is a bit to steep to go by, it’s definitely interesting to hear, especially considering Kotaku has recently come out and have confirmed that they in fact have been hearing that the next entry to the Tomb Raider franchise, is in fact titled Shadow of the Tomb Raider – being developed out of Eidos Montreal.
Crystal Dynamics has been the face behind the last two Tomb Raider entries, however; with the reports of the third entry being developed out of Eidos Montreal, it’s quite likely that Square Enix has chosen a different team work alongside with for this next entry.
It’s quite a large rumor to take in to say the least; and with the next Tomb Raider game likely not arriving for the next 1-2 years, we likely won’t be hearing any official information on it until at least E3 2017.
