Are you a fan of Sherlock Holmes? I’m not, and to be very honest, knew nothing about it until the movie released a couple years back. But for all of you who are fans of the franchise, you’ll probably be happy to know that a new game is on the way!
Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter has just been announced as a Spring 2016 title, being released on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The game will be developed once again by Frogware Sutdios, and will be published by Bigben Interactive.
The game is set to take place in Victorian London, and will feature five brand new cases. This time around, the game will allow Sherlock to explore more of an open-world environment, ultimately allowing for more adventure and freedom, as many games seem to be taking this sort of path nowadays. The game is also said to feature, “fast-paced action sequences to challenge you every gaming skill, and a unique blend of game mechanics that lead to an unprecedented experience”. Sounds pretty rad if you ask me!
Based on what Fragware has stated regarding the games story, it seems that Sherlock will be facing some problems with a past family as well as the revenge of the occult. You won’t have to wait to long to see the new title in action, as the game is set to be shown off next week during the Pairs Games Week on October 28th to November 1st.
