I’m a pretty big junkie when it comes to special edition Nintendo 3DS XL consoles. I’ve purchased more than I’m proud of if I’m being really honest, but it seems the ones that I wouldn’t regret purchasing at all, are the ones which release exclusively outside of the United States.
This Super Nintendo-themed New Nintendo 3DS XL is definitely one of those versions I’d love to have. Nintendo UK recently made the announcement that Europe would be receiving this beautiful themed New 3DS XL this October, recently during Gamescom 2017.

While yes it is true that the US has gotten their fair share of exclusive themed New Nintendo 3DS XL consoles in the past, including the upcoming Samus themed system launching alongside Metroid: Samus Returns, it would be really nice if we could get in on the console-themed 3DS fun as well!
The Super Nintendo-themed New Nintendo 3DS XL hits store shelve sin Europe on October 13th. Keep a close eye out on the official Nintendo of America twitter account for a possible announcement regarding a US release.
