As we reported earlier, Star Ocean 5 is set to be releasing sometime this summer. We haven’t yet received an official announcement from Square Enix regarding the exact release date for the title. However, the company may not make a formal announcement anytime soon, considering the release date has recently shown up over on the Square Enix store.
Star Ocean 5 will offer a “Day One Edition” on PlayStation 4, giving you free in-game items and alternate battle music from the infamous Valkyrie Profile series, all for the price of $59.99. This edition will be available on June 28th, 2016.
Star Ocean 5, aka Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness will be available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 over in Japan, while to everywhere else the game will only be available on PlayStation 4.
