With Bungie finally unveiling the curtain, for the most part, on Destiny 2; it’s time for the next title that has been under-wraps within the gaming industry to get revealed, and no, I’m not talking about Call of Duty 2017 either.
Star Wars: Battlefront 2 has been a known to be a thing for awhile now, and though EA and DICE have been pretty hush-hush on it lately, it seems they’ll finally be sharing some details with us regarding the game as well as giving it a proper reveal soon.
The companies have announced that during a Star Wars Celebration that will be taking place next month, Star Wars: Battlefront 2 will officially be revealed. The event is set to take place on April 15th at 2:30pm Eastern Time. The panel will be streamed livestreamed, so you’ll be able to catch the details and everything else as it happen; the event is said to be a “galaxywide premiere” of the game, so expect nothing less than a proper introduction to the title with likely a larger chunk of information to be shared during E3.
As of now, we don’t know all that much regarding Star Wars: Battlefront 2 aside from the fact that the game will be arriving sometime during Holiday this year. The game is likely to launch with a lot more content than compared to it’s predecessor as that was one of the main complaints alongside it’s release. Battlefront 1 was also very buggy, and also lacked single player which are other areas the sequel can heavily improve on. Regardless, Star Wars has an huge and loyal fan base, so many fans are more than likely going to brush off the experience of the Battlefront 1 and give this one a shot.
Star Wars: Battlefront 2 arrives this Holiday on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
