The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Has Gone Gold

Another large, highly anticipated, upcoming titles is well on it’s way, and it doesn’t look like we’ll be bumping into anymore inconvenient delays this time around. That’s right, the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has officially been confirmed to have gone gold; basically meaning the full, finalized title has been printed onto blu-ray and is readying for mass distribution.

A recent tweet was revealed on twitter by Monolith Software developer, Yasuyuki Sonne, which showed a dinner celebration of sorts, taking place along with the entire development for Breath of the Wild.

Breath of the Wild has seen it’s fair share of delays ever since it’s initial announcement back in 2013; however, once the official confirmation that Nintendo was in-fact readying to a brand new console sooner rather than later, it was quickly assumed that the new Zelda title would be held off until the launch of the upcoming system. This of course, turned out to be the case. Despite this, one thing is for certain, and that is the fact that Nintendo has had A LOT of time to polish this title, so much time that this may very well be the most crisp, polished, well designed Zelda games to have been created thus far.

I suppose only time will tell, but speaking as someone who’s not very much of a Zelda fan; the game has captivated my interest so much to the point where I’m looking forward to March 3rd more-so for Zelda, than I am for the Switch itself.
