Earlier this year, Square Enix teased us all with the existence of a new Bravely Default title. It’s not surprise that they’d be working on one either, as the company seems to be extremely hard at work on their beloved franchises these day’s, and Bravely Default has quickly become one of them. While during the initial teasing, we didn’t learn much about game itself, aside that a new one was in development; but today, Square Enix finally lifted the veil on some of the details surrounding the game.
The official title of the new title is Bravely Default: Fairy’s Effect, and get this, the title is set to launch on Mobile platforms only (iOS and Android), sometime in the near future. While previously unknown to me, Bravely Default did have a mobile release awhile back as Bravely Default: D’s Report, dropped in early 2015. The game was more of a watered down, turn-based mobile title, but was still something nice for the core Bravely Default fans out there. It’s quite unknown at this time if Fairy’s Effect will be the same, or drastically different.
All that is currently known regarding the title at this moment, aside from it being mobile exclusive, is currently only planned for a Japanese release, with a closed beta currently in the works.
