This holiday season, I am going to get my snowboarding game on like never before. It’s been years since I’ve fully engaged myself into a Snowboarding title; with SSX 3 being the last snowboarding title that I actually thoroughly enjoyed, it’s quite obvious that it’s been years since I’ve last experienced that digital enjoyment of speeding down a snowy slope.
During E3 2016, Ubisoft revealed what I believe the be the next great snowboarding title, STEEP. A open-world style snowboarding title, giving players the ultimate snowboarding experience! The game offers a handful of features such as the ability to sky-dive via wing-suits, explore the peak ranges, meetup with your friends in real time, in game, character customization, and more!
STEEP is now officially set to arrive in December, and Ubisoft has revealed both a standard edition and gold edition version of the game, which are now currently available to pre-order. A beta period will also be starting up for the game, sometime before it’s launch. Gamer’s wishing to participate in the beta can do so, by signing up here.
Ubisoft has also announce pre-order bonuses for the title, which are eligible no matter which version of the game you purchase. Pre-ordered copies will come with the Moonlight Content Pack, which will include the following:
- Three extra night challenges
- Three new night outfits
- Glowing equipment for each activity (ski, snowboard, wingsuit and paraglide)
- Wingsuit Sparkle Flare
When purchasing the Gold Edition of STEEP, players will receive all the content which is included with the Standard Edition, as well the season pass. The season pass will provide you access to all the content for the title which is planned to release post-launch, details regarding this upcoming content is yet to be announced.
STEEP will be launching on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on December 2nd. I can hardly wait! Definitely checkout the recently released Gamescom 2016 trailer for the title, below.
