If you’re like me, and have been eagerly awaiting the next solo Yoshi adventure – it seems our long wait is finally coming to an end, as Nintendo has at long last revealed the official release date for the upcoming title.
Yoshi’s Crafted World is the next major Yoshi adventure, which will be taking place exclusively on the Nintendo Switch platform. Since it’s initial reveal, the game has received several release windows, but has unfortunately seen a few delays before even receiving a release date. However, Nintendo has finally confirmed that the game will be arriving on March 29th, 2019!
Each standalone Yoshi title seems to have it’s own different artistic design, with Yoshi Story being very “storybook/sketched” design-based, Woolly World, obviously being very Yarn design-based, and now Crafted World taking on a more “Paper/Arts & Crafts”, type of design.
Woolly World is very likely to be another amazing Yoshi game added to the already large catalog of successful Yoshi titles. I cannot wait to get my hands on it. Stay tuned for my official review write-up of the title shortly after the launch of the game!
