While I’m on the subject of Kickstarter I received news on the spiritual successor to PT, the Silent Hill game to end all horror games that will never be. It was also on Kickstarter but was canceled early… not that it had trouble getting the money after the hype PT caused. Instead of kickstarter though the developers will join forces with Team 17, the group that makes Worms and the rebirth of Banjoo-Kazooie, Yooka-Laylee. Supposedly they will still have the freedom to make the game as hardcore as PT and that sounds great. The trailer looks like a more refined PT which is interesting but I can’t help but feel they might take PT a little too close to heart. The trailer looks crazy though and I love it and I can promise you one thing; if the walls start bleeding I will jump over the fence and bail.
