So the title for Zero Escape 3 has finally been dropped, the final sequel in the mind twisting trilogy which includes Virtue’s Last Reward and Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors. The name of Zero Escape 3 is officially Zero Time Dilemma, a play on the fact that you are literally trying to stop the end of the world and prevent the possible future in Virtue’s Last Reward. Fans have been waiting on this game for a long time due to its large cult following and after a struggle it has finally been announced. The game will be released in the summer of 2016. Personally I am almost as excited for this as I am for Fallout 4 which can’t come soon enough. Previous games are known for being kind of dark and combining mind melting brain teasers with near impossible choices (as far as games go). According to the creator Kotaro Uchokoshi it sounds like things are going to get even crazier.
How much of your humanity will you sacrifice to earn your freedom? As a new age of ruin looms large on the horizon, you must make impossible decisions and weather unimaginable consequences as you straddle the line between absolution and damnation.
I don’t know what to expect or how this game can beat the quantum physics puzzles from last time but I have confidence it will prove a challenge to me again… one of the few series that has in years. That and if the below picture proves anything it’s that this game will be that much darker as well… and it kind of explains why I was so mangled in the future. That and who the mystery girl is because I’m sure we’ll be seeing many characters from the first two games as well.
