Well it looks like all of us aspiring Wizards and Witches out there will have to wait much longer before finally getting a proper return to Hogwarts, as the upcoming Hogwarts Legacy title has unfortunately been revealed to be getting a delay into 2022 by the developers on social media. It’s a very unfortunate circumstance, but delay’s at the beginning of new console generations is something we’ve all become accustomed to at this point, but a delay into 2022 is something none of us really saw coming.

Creating the best possible experience for all of the Wizarding World and gaming fans is paramount to us so we are giving the game the time it needs. Hogwarts Legacy will be released in 2022.”
It’s a very huge delay, but as we already currently know very little about the game and have seen very little – it’s probably safe to say that the delay was for the best.
While details surrounding the game are scarce, the game will likely arrive on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC when it arrives in 2022.
