With the amount of games Blizzard Entertainment now has in production, it’s no surprise to hear that they may have something new to share up their sleeve at the upcoming Gamescom convention that’s taking place next week in Germany.
Rumors have surfaced regarding a possible expansion that is to be announced in regards to one of Blizzards currently released games. If anything, we will either be receiving news about a possible Diablo 3 expansion, or World of Warcraft expansion, a Diablo 3 expansion is much more likely. It’s been a considerable amount of time since Reaper of Souls has released, so if Blizzard does intent to continue the lifespan of Diablo 3 before bringing on the 4th, this seems to be the perfect time.
Blizzard will also be discussing their upcoming HearthStone expansion at the event, as well as Overwatch, and the current on-going Heroes of the Storm expansion.
The Blizzard Entertainment Media Briefing will take place on Wednesday, August 5th at 12pm CEST.
