Despite the overall rocky launch and rough stigma the Cyberpunk 2077 title has received since basically release, we’ve all known for quite sometime that CD Projekt Red is not done with the game, and that more would be on the way at some point. Well, it seems like the developers are now at a comfortable enough of a phase with the games current stability to finally unveil a new chapter for the game, ultimately ushering in a breath of fresh air and somewhat of a new start for the player-base still willing to give it a shot.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty has been revealed to be the first expansion for the game, seemingly featuring a much darker take on the United States of America, as the trailer had a lot of chaos to show, and a overall more sinister tone. While not much else was provided around the story for this expansion, it’s likely hear more about it sometime before the end of 2022 as Phantom Liberty is currently slated for a 2023 release.
I, V, do solemnly swear that I shall faithfully serve the New United States of America.

So what do you think? Is a new expansion set in the 2077-verse enough to make you want to give Cyberpunk another chance? With new performance updates being pushed out on both the next-gen console and PC side, it’s definitely enticing to say the least.
