Nintendo GameCube and Nintendo Wii emulation is about to get so much easier, and so much more convenient!
The developers over at Dolphin have recently announced that the client will soon to be coming to Steam as their latest “great experiment”. As you can already assume, this means you’ll soon be able to “technically” play your favorite Nintendo GameCube games and Nintendo Wii games – just by simply launching the steam client!
While we’re still awaiting a full detailed list as to what new features and functions may arrive alongside the clients Steam release; a much more simplified and streamlined controller setup function is very likely to be one of the many upsides to launching the client via steam, as steam has a very simplified controller setup option themselves.
Dolphin emulator is scheduled to arrive on Steam sometime Q2 2023, with more information likely coming soon.
