EA Booths to be absent at E3 this year, Company will host “EA Play” event instead Glake Riuno January 28, 2016 Gaming News With each E3 that goes by, it seems more and more companies are either joining the fold, or are deciding to host their own little event. With everyone doing something seemingly, a little different, each year, it’s no surprise to hear about another company deciding to do something on their own terms. EA has announced today that instead of hosting their own E3 booth this year, as they’ve done in the past; the company will now be hosting a special event which will be held from June 12 – 14 at the Nokia Theater in LA entitled “EA Play”. An EA Play event will also be taking place in London during the same time. Both events will be open to the public and will feature brand new games, and an opportunity for attendees to get their hands on with them. Despite this switch up, the company will still be holding a press conference which will be taking place that Sunday, June 12th at 4pm ET. We’re still quite a way’s out from E3, but it seems that’s not a good enough excuse for companies to begin releasing details regarding their E3 plans.
