The next big adventure for Elder Scrolls Online players is soon to be at hand! The next expansion has been announced and dated for a May 21st release. Some details have also been revealed regarding the game the biggest being that the game will introduce a completely new zone as well as the High Elves in a brand new story campaign for the game.
The game will be heavily focused around the High Elf society, where players will meet with the Psijic Order and unlock new skills and combat abilities; as well as expanding upon their crafting talents and systems – along with the new ability to craft jewelry.
It seems this time around, Bethesda is looking to get more players into ESO, as you will not have to own any previous expansions for the game in order to access Summerset content. Instead, purchasers of the Sumnmerset expansion will be given the Morrowind Expansion for free! In addition to this, there are quite a few way’s for players to purchase the Summerset expansion; you’ll be given the option to purchase a standard edition, a digital upgrade, a collector’s edition, a collector’s upgrade, as well as a physical version option which will be available at launch. Those who pre-order the game will receive a “Queen’s Bounty Pack” which includes a brand new costume, pet, maps, crate, and a scroll boost.
Despite having an arguably bumpy launch with the vanilla Elder Scrolls Online, the game has since seen massive improvement, especially with the 2017 Morrowind Expansion. While I personally just have much to many MMO’s in my arsenal at the moment to make room for another one, I would definitely suggest checking out Elder Scrolls Online if you’re looking for a new MMO to hop into.
The Elder Scroll Online: Summerset Expansion will launch on May 21st for PC/Mac and will arrive on console for Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on June 5th.
