It’s been a very long wait for Bayonetta fans, (although not quite as long as the Metroid Prime crowd has been waiting), Bayonetta 3 has definitely become one of those infamous, yet to be released, Nintendo Switch titles that has seemingly been taking forever to finally receive a release date. It’s even crazier when you consider that the games original announcement trailer released the tail end of 2017, the same year the Nintendo Switch launched!
But fans of the franchise will only have to wait a tad bit longer as at long last, Nintendo has announced that Bayonetta 3 will finally be arriving this October on the Nintendo Switch. The release date was announced alongside a recently released game-play trailer, and rightfully so considering the extended absence of a Summer Nintendo Direct; giving fans a more recent look at the game and some of the new additions to the gameplay as well as the story (I’m looking at you, Viola).
Now, while I’ve never been a huge Bayonetta fan, and will honestly likely skip out on this one; nothing thrills me more than seeing Switch titles that have been in the works for awhile, finally receive release dates. I’m only hoping that sometime soon we also get a new date for the Advanced Wars remakes, but that’s besides the point.
Bayonetta 3 makes it’s way to the Nintendo Switch on October 28th.
